Telesur+ Subscriber Agreement and Terms of Use

1. Introduction and Acceptance

This Subscriber Agreement and Terms of Use (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to your use of Telesur+, a digital streaming service offered by N.V. TELESUR (“Telesur”).

By creating a Telesur+ account (“Account”), activating a top-up code or using the service in any way, you declare that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.

The service is available for personal, household and non-commercial use only.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the service.

2. Description of the Service

Telesur+ offers access to a selection of:

• Surinamese television channels (available for free),
• international television channels,
• films and series (local and international),
• sports broadcasts and other audiovisual content.

The service can be accessed through supported devices, including, but not limited to:

• mobile devices and tablets (Android and iOS),
• web browsers (via computers),
• smart-tv-platforms Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV en Roku.

Unless otherwise specified, You may use the Service on a maximum of three (3) devices per Account simultaneously.

The content is streamed over an active internet connection.

3. Account and Security

3.1 Registration

To use (parts of) the service, you must create an Account with a valid e-mail address and password. You are obliged to provide correct, up-to-date and complete information and to keep it up-to-date.

3.2 Age

You must be at least 18 years of age to independently create an Account or use the Service. If you are under 18 years of age, you declare that you have the consent of your parent or legal guardian.

3.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login details confidential;
• all activities that occur through your Account.

You agree:

• impersonate any person or entity;
• not to provide false or misleading information;
• not to use other people’s account information.

If you suspect unauthorized use of your Account, you must immediately inform Telesur via [email protected], by telephone via the mobile number 8885888 or via the helpdesk on the number 152.

3.4 Account Sharing and Housekeeping

Access to your Account is limited to your household.

“Household” means the devices that are connected to your primary home address and are used by persons who live there.

You are not allowed to share your subscription with people outside your household.

4. Top-up codes and payment

Access to paid content is obtained via top-up codes, available at authorized Telesur points of sale.

Top-up codes can only be activated via the official website (https://info.telesurplus.sr/redeem) or the Telesur+ application.

To the extent permitted by law:

• purchases of top-up codes are final and non-refundable;
• Redeemed, or expired codes cannot be reused.

5. Rights of Use and Restrictions

5.1 License

Telesur grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to view the content exclusively for personal, household and non-commercial purposes.

5.2 Prohibited Uses

It is not allowed to:

• copy, reproduce, distribute or disclose any content;
• record or rebroadcast content;
• circumvent technical protections (such as DRM) or geographical restrictions;
• use automated systems (such as bots or scrapers) to access the service;
• use the service in a manner that violates any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Technical requirements and internet use

6.1 Internet access

To use the service, you must have internet access. The costs for internet connection and data usage are at your own expense.

6.2 Compatible Devices

Use of the service requires compatible devices. Some software may require periodic updates. The performance of the service may be affected by:

• your device,
• software,
• network connection,
• other external factors beyond Telesur’s control.

6.3 Internet connection and quality

Certain functionalities require a high-speed internet connection. The quality of streaming can be affected by:

• internet speed,
• available bandwidth,
• location,
• type of network (e.g. cellular or Wi-Fi).

7. Availability and Geographical Limitations

Telesur+ is primarily intended for use within Suriname.

Due to licensing restrictions, some content may:

• only available within specific geographical areas;
• are not available in whole or in part outside Suriname.

Telesur reserves the right to:

• change, replace or remove content, channels and functionalities at any time;
• (temporarily) interrupt the availability of the service, for example for maintenance.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your Privacy is important to us. Telesur processes personal data in accordance with the applicable Privacy legislation and its applicable Privacy Policy.

By using the service, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, available through the official website.

9. Notices and Communications

Telesur can send you notifications via:

• email to the email address associated with your Account;
• notifications within the service;
• other reasonable means of communication.

You consent to receive electronic communications, including:

• notifications,
• agreements,
• disclosures and other information.

This electronic communication complies with any legal requirements for written notice.

10. Exclusion of Warranties and Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

Telesur does not guarantee that:

• the service will function uninterrupted or error-free;
• the service is suitable for specific purposes;
• the service is compatible with all devices or networks.

To the extent permitted by law, Telesur shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of (or inability to use) the Service.

11. Use of Content

The content offered through the service is intended for information and entertainment purposes only.

The content does not constitute:

• legal advice,
• financial advice,
• medical or health advice,
• or other professional services.

12. Changes to the Terms

Telesur reserves the right to change or supplement these Terms and Conditions.

The most up-to-date version is always available via the official website https://telesurplus.sr.

Continued use of the service after modification of the Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance thereof.

13. Termination of Use

Telesur reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Account or subscription, or restrict access to the service, if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

You may terminate your Account at any time through the appropriate functionalities or by contacting customer service.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms will remain in full force and effect. The provision in question will be replaced by a valid provision that is as close as possible to the purpose and purport of the original provision.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The laws of Suriname apply to these Terms and Conditions.

All disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Suriname.
